CLS is on the hook for Automotive Mechanics in Jefferson, LA! They will diagnose and estimate time to repair vehicles as well as supply a list of parts needed to complete the job. Experience with German, British & Japanese cars is a plus. Contract to hire possible!
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Knowledge of operating 2 & 4 post lifts, Hunter Alignment Equipment, Various A/C system equipment for R134 and 1234yf equipped vehicles, Leak Detector, Smoke Detection Machine, Various Scan tools (autel, laptop, autologic, etc..) to aid in diagnosis, Tire Mount and Dismount Machine, Tire Balancing Machine.
· Knowledge of how to safely use torches and mig welders, if needed.
· Qualified candidates must supply their own tools, not including “shop” & “specialty” tools.
Work hours are 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday with some opportunities for overtime!
