CLS is looking for Order Pickers for our client in Jefferson, La. Contract to hire opportunity available for those who put their best feet forward!
Responsibilities Include:
Read, write, count, accurately & effectively fill out shipping/receiving paperworkFulfill customer orders by accurately pulling product by using “pick” ticketsLoad/unload customer vehicles and client vehiclesSafely and securely pack/palletize products for Will Call pick-up or shipmentTake part in daily order pickingTake part in daily truck loadingBe hands on with client’s customer Will Call programResponsible for outbound UPS and Fed Ex shipments, up to and including generating shipping labelsMust work hand-in-hand with the Shipping Clerk to ensure client is shipping complete customer orders in a timely mannerAdhere to all rules, regulations, and procedures outlined in the client’s shipping manual.Forklift capability or training could be necessaryHelp with any of the client’s needs as they arise.
Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs, unassisted.Forklift Experience is a plusMust be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment.Must be a dependable person that is self-motivatedMust have good communication skills
