February 7, 2023 (Chalmette, LA) – Construction of Complete Logistical Services (CLS) staffing agency’s new office space has passed its midway point.  Ahead of schedule, its recent progress now offers drivers-by a hint of the beautiful, modern building that will adorn the previously empty lot where ground was broken last June.

The new larger building will accommodate CLS’s continuing growth. The agency currently employs nearly 30 people in Chalmette and across South Louisiana. As labor demands across the U.S. have increased, CLS has added staff to adapt to those needs.

With construction of the new building, the agency is expanding its current St. Bernard Parish office space. The new structure will include a 10,000 square foot modern building directly across the street from the company’s current office on Lafitte Court in Chalmette.

The new building was designed by Architect David Chautin, a Chalmette native, and is being built by Campagna Construction, also local to St. Bernard.  The partnership promises to offer the area a unique, modern design. Completion is expected in early summer.

According to CLS president, Angela Verdin, CLS plans to move their operations division into the new building and utilize the existing building for labor and workforce training.  “There’s a great need for a trained workforce. In the near future, we plan to have the facilities and the team in place to train applicants for these open positions.”

The agency’s applicant pool has increased dramatically recently. This could be because of the recent environment but also because of initiatives to steer people to their services.

According to Verdin, “Many of our job candidates found their way to CLS because they were tired of applying to multiple companies, job sites, and being ghosted by companies after interviews.”

In November, CLS launched https://gettoworkfast.com. CLS’ Get to Work Fast program aims to expedite the hiring process to benefit candidates and companies alike. Applicants seeking permanent full-time, temporary, or part-time work can apply for several jobs with one quick upload of their resume.

When an applicant applies for an advertised job with CLS or submits a resume, the recruitment team immediately goes to work for that candidate. Additionally, each candidate is immediately partnered with a CLS recruiter. Recruiters personally advise on and set up interviews for open positions that meet the candidate’s needs, provide feedback after every interview, and continue to communicate upcoming openings.

Get to Work Fast eliminates job site bots, employer ghosting, and most of the time-consuming work put into a job search. It also serves hiring companies, who need to fill positions quickly with quality personnel.
